<description>On 14th September Ellie will leave for Singapore where she has been invited to attend the 5th International Tropical Lab Residency at Lasalle College of the Arts.
 
Aims and Objectives
The aims and objectives of TROPICAL LAB are to expand the views of the participants to exchange experiences aid research and stimulate creative thinking through a collaborative approach. 
Theme 
This year the residency theme is Masak masak. Masak masak refers to a Malay term for makebelieve cooking and even childs play. As a concept that exists in the popular imagination of many in Singapore and her neighboring countries masak masak invokes the centrality of food in our daily lives. 
A series of creative workshops and other activities presentations seminar dialogues trips will be conducted by internationally renowned artist Rirkrit Tiravania and staff members from LASALLE College of the Arts campus and studios within workshop venues and auditoriums with assistance from technical officers and studen...</description>

Charlotte Young Performance lecture So Youre Finally Leaving Art School

Charlotte Young is an artist writer and comedian. She has recently cowritten a book with acclaimed artist and musician Billy Childish published by the L13 Light Industrial Workshop. In 2008 she received the Owen Rowley Award for Art 163600 but did not invest this money wisely and is now receiving benefits.
 
Her 2011 YouTube sensation Artists Statement has received nearly 200000 hits so far this year.
